Another Two In One Day.

I was thinking of posting yesterday and then before I realized it - I forgot, so this is two days in one.

YESTERDAY -

I was up and running in the morning. Drove up to Cherrill's to get her brace on before I left for my folks. I stopped at Starbucks for tea and a bagel. I split the bagel with mom when I got to their place. Got dad going, and took him to PT. Mom stayed home for quilters to show up. When we got to PT, I made the comment to Bob that my back was stiff and he told me to walk around the building 4 times. So, while he worked on dad, I walked around 4 times. Then came back and did the exercises with dad, getting him to do better. We had a good time together. Reminded me of when I was younger and he pushed me to do better.

Got back to mom and dads.

So, I pulled out the rabbit that mom and I worked on.

I actually got more than this done. I have the paws and the other foot done as well. I didn't get the tail on though. It worked out pretty good. I enjoyed the company, even though there was only 7 of us. I'm just happy to get more done on this. Mom had the fox and the bear done with the exception of the noises.

Came home to find Patrick home. He took the afternoon off. While he worked outside, I worked on my cross stitch inside.

We got a lot done. I did a lot on my cross stitch and Patrick got a lot on the yard.

TODAY -

We slept in today. I was really tired and seemed to get a lot of sleep in. When we both were ready we went to the casino. Didn't do so good today and were out of there within an hour and a half.

After that we went to the movies. There was more "M-F'ing" in the movie than I can for. It was "Hiregun's Bodygaurd" and it has a lot of blood and guts as well as swearing. Not my kind of a movie, but I did like the idea of what they had, and not what they produced. I think a movie with less swearing and more entertaining is more to my liking!

Came home and I pulled out my cross stitch again.

Was able to get that "row" done. I decided I didn't want to keep working on it. I'm tired of the confetti in this one! But I guess that's normal for HAED cross stitch pieces. I'll take it out next month and work on it, but will let it go for now.

So, I pulled out my Mirabilia piece and will get back to working on that one. I need to finish a piece or two. Don't like having so much going at once. Makes me too jittery.

Life is good, we're doing great! Stuff happens, and all's well. Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!
