Garage Sale Prep

This morning, I was up and out the door for taking all the garage sale stuff in the truck to the grange. I had a couple stops before heading there. First the bank, then Safeway for cleaner wipes, then post office, and last stop before heading there was Dutch Brothers.

Arrived to find Colleen in front of me getting there. Val was already there and dropped off her load. I couldn't believe all the stuff we had! OMG! I just hope this stuff sells.

This was some before we added more.

We have plenty and there is a lot more. I'm hoping we can sell most of it. Otherwise, it's going to the grange for their next garage sale. I couldn't believe how much everyone brought. I had 4 boxes of stuff. Others did too.

Since I had the truck, I had Debbie follow me and pick me up at the Ace Hardware to take me to Safeway. Hate backing up in the truck. So, we went shopping and she brought me back to my truck. Then I walked across the street to get flowers at Benny's. OMG! I bought them, and on the way home they started falling out of the vase! Before I knew it, they were out of the vase. I had to get Phil to come get them out of the car! I bought them for Emily's Birthday today. I was so ticked! The arrangement wasn't an arrangement anymore. Phil had to put them in another vase and rearrange them. I will not go there again! The gal there wasn't very friendly, and didn't bother to help me. I told her what I wanted and she pointed to the 6 displayed arrangements. Told her Emily didn't like lilies and she said, "This one has them, this one doesn't, this one doesn't, this one does." I checked with Patrick on which ones and bought them. She wasn't very helpful. Asked for a box and she got one, but then when I was walking, the flowers were coming out of the vase and box! Never again! Next time I will go to Centralia for flowers.

Came home and relaxed the rest of the day. We will take tomorrow off for prepping for the sale on Friday and Saturday. Patrick wants to go to the casino. I have to pick up quilts tomorrow on the way. Then Friday and Saturday will be spent at the grange with the garage sale. I just hope people come. We posted on Facebook a couple times. It's a wait and see thing.

Which won't make me Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
