A Trip To Olympia And A Finish

This morning, we stayed pretty quiet. I did get some work on getting the word chart going. I haven't finished the deer part and wanted to get moving on it. So, I was able to get another 11 rows done before we had to leave.

We were meeting Kelsey at Jeremy's in town. I had a quilt for her to quilt. Then we stopped at Colleen's, and she was waiting to see if I had anything. Told her no, gave it to Kelsey. So, she can work on a quilt top with those blocks I gave her. Told her we are behind on tops. She gave me a quilt, so we have one more. I need to go downstairs and work on mine. Maybe this weekend.

Then we headed to Olympia because my doctor asked me to get a blood test done. I did the iron test for her. I also collected the stuff I need for later. Once that was done and I learned a little more, we came home.

I tried to decide what I wanted to do, after supper. I started cooking almost as soon as we got home.

Then I went and got my beading. I wanted to finish the earrings.

I really like these. I got the pattern from Etsy, Snowy Egret Fringe Earrings. The designer is Fringe Benefits Beading Co. and I like her patterns. I had to learn the brick stitch, but now that I know it, I can do more earrings. I have a couple I want to do and will work on those later.

I then started another set of earrings that are from another designer on Etsy - Lubaro, They are really pretty too.

It's a single brick stitch that took me a bit, but I finally got it. I'm glad I learned the double layer first, as this is a single row.  I think they might be a little more elegant. We will see when I'm done.

Then I had to get a thumb drive for Nancy. She's going to do my certificates for me. I have them ready to take tomorrow. It's Carmen's Birthday tomorrow. Funny, but they didn't do anything for me and my Birthday! lol

Now I'm done, finished. I need to sit and play my games. At least I found the time to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quiltling!
