Getting A Few Things Done

Today was one of those days. I was in the mood to do a lot of stitching. I even made some bread for supper today.

This morning, I went downstairs to finish the quilt top that was on the floor. My next quilt is the one on the wall that Ann started.

Since I didn't need to do much but get the borders done, I worked on that. I'm glad I cut the border last time, so I didn't have to have a lot of work to do. I added the stars and then put it all together. I like how it came out. I then cut the batting and backing for it. I had to wash the backing twice because the blue dye was still coming out. I gave up after the second wash. I will take it into Colleen tomorrow. She has my other one finished.

Then I came up and play my games. I found out I forgot about the war game this morning. Didn't matter too much because the one that did show up was the only one that showed.

I worked on the bread and sat down to watch "Father Brown" and stitch.

I was able to get about 500 or more stitches in today. I have my stair step going, so now it's just working my way up the next row of steps. I have quite a bit done today. The colors are different than I expected, but I can get used to them. Katt might not like the purple, but we will see. I do like how it's going.

I spent the day enjoying my crafts. I even thought of the white-on-white quilt that needs to be quilted, but I'm going to hold off on that till it gets cooler. Plus, right now I need to work on my beading and my QOV stuff as well as this. It keeps me Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
