Today, I was up and cleaning. Then I decided to go downstairs and work on the quilt top before we headed to the play in Centralia.
I was able to get the center area almost done before we left at 1 pm.
We went to Panda for supper. I got a birthday promotion that I used. We finally got back home around 5:30 pm.
I decided I wanted to keep the reds on one side and the blue on the other. So, when we got home, I went downstairs and worked on finishing this. First, I had to take out the 2 strips on the left because they were the wrong order. I was taking out a lot, partly because I don't like sewing, partly because I wasn't paying attention. Don't tell anyone, but I think the "not paying attention" is more like it.
After 2 hours I finally finished it. It's okay. Patrick picked the yellow, but I think it's too bright. At this point I'm not going to argue and try to find another yellow less "in your face." it worked for what I did.
I put a panel that Ann Busby started on the wall. I'm going to finish it and hopefully have another quilt ready for next month. We need tops and I'm going to have to make sure I work on a few.
As HOT as it is today, it was cooler downstairs which made it easy to be Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!
