This morning was one of those mornings one doesn't want to get up because it rained all night. The shy was still dark, and sleep felt better. Yet instead of staying in bed, I got a call from Ron saying he was getting ready to move to Vancouver. I'm thrilled to hear that! He needs to be by his older son and not worry about the middle one. He was getting a few things out of the house and then they were moving to Vancouver. I told him to keep in touch.
Then I helped Patrick with dehydrating his strawberries. Not something I would want, but he wanted to try them. I cut the rest of the strawberries and had them ready to go. They were going all day.
I worked on my beads that came in yesterday.
I had a couple for my Sophie piece and then I wondered what I was thinking when I order some of the others, because I had plenty in my boxes. I went ahead and added them to my supplies and then went to work on my cross-stitching.
I pulled out the cross-stitch and between having to wear the heat mask for my eye, I would work on my stuff. The mask has to be on for 15 minutes, 5 times a day. I did the 5 times today but was short on the drops though. I forgot to put the drops in after one of the heating times.
I finished the row I started yesterday and started the next row. I'm thinking I got about 500 stitches if not more in. It's coming along. The empty places is for the beads. So, the beads will be a LOT! I will be ready to add them. I can do that. I have the bead thread as well, so we are good.
I pretty much listened to my books. I finished one and started another. It was nice to be able to work on my piece and listen to a book. I get lost in my own word and get a lot done. That's what it's all about, Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
