One Heck Of A Day

This morning, I had to take Sophie to the vets. She wasn't too crazy about the idea. She cried halfway there.

He kept her head down at the vets. When a dog whined while visiting with the vet, Sophie headed for the corner of her new crate.

Poor thing wasn't happy. After we were done and on the way home, she didn't say a word. I stopped and got some strawberries for Patrick, and she still didn't complain. She was thrilled to get home again.

Then after waiting an hour, we headed to Olympia for my eye appointment. I found out I have to heat my eye and put drops in at night as well as during the day. Hopefully it will get rid of what I have. I need to go back in 3 weeks. So, while Patrick was in urgent care for his finger (mallet finger), I ordered my stuff for my eye. It will be in on Friday and I can get started on fixing the problem. Patrick was a little longer than me at the urgent care. He had an x-ray and then went back in to find out it's a mallet finger. He has to keep a sprint on it for 6 weeks.

We then headed to the casino and played till about 7 pm. We were doing okay, but we were able to play on what we took for about 4-5 hours. It turned out to be fun, and we stayed on one game for a long time.

Came home and I worked on my cross stitch. I really want to work on this project. It's fun. I'm not crazy about the colors, but I am having fun working on it. I may get this done faster than the last one. lol

I am getting closer to the stair step method now. I have it started and working up to get to the next area, then I can work my way back up again from the bottom. I was able to get a good 100 stitches if not more in tonight.

Now my day is over and I'm about ready to call it a night. I will listen to my book and then go to sleep. I'm just glad I had the time to get a few stitching in on my piece, which always makes me Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
