This morning, Patrick was up way before me. I thought he was going to sleep in, but he didn't.
I worked on my exercises and was glad to be done with them. I'm getting tired of them, so have cut it down to once a day instead of twice a day.
Then I decided I wanted to work on the beading. Patrick had the table set so I could. I found it was pretty easy to work on my beading now that the table is cleared.
Her nose is showing now. I find that one has to be a few feet away to see the nose. Close up, it runs together. It's small, but the yellow that is in her coating covers the nose some. More color is coming and she's looking pretty good so far. I just hope I'm happy with it when I'm done. I showed Patrick the piece while he was in the living room, and he said he could see the nose. That made me feel better. After 4 rows, I called it down. Then I pulled out about 10 pages of the word chart and started marking the number by each row, so I would have to wait when I get to that page. I still have another 10 pages to do and will do them when I think about it.
After calling it quits on beading, I went and sat down for stitching. I wanted to work on that as well.
I was able to get to the top left area. I was going along great, but got tired of working on it, so called it done when the house got a little darker. I really like the work so far. Beads are going to keep me busy, I realize that now.
Tomorrow, I need to get the backing and batting done for a quilt top. I should try and finish up the quilt on the floor. Plus, I have the eagle piece mom made for Jeremy, so I need to work on getting that done as well. Then I can send it to CA to be presented to him. BUT first I need to get the backing and batting done for the quilt that goes to Colleen. The one on the floor will go to the church, if they are willing to help us with it for a donation.
I want to work on family history as well, so need to put some time in for that as well. At least I have the time to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
