One More Day At Home, Then Back To Who Knows What

This morning, Patrick was golfing, and I was home. It felt good to be home, but I had little time to do much since I slept in till almost 9 am. It really surprised me I slept that long.

When I got up, I thought I had my war game but found out it wasn't for 4 more hours. So, I played for a bit and then got to work on a few things. I wanted to bead, but the table is picked up for now, so we can put another tablecloth down. I was hoping Patrick would do that today, but he didn't want to. Moving my beads is no easy task. So, I decided to try and stitch.

I decided to play my games since I didn't play much all day. I did get to my war game at 1 pm, then after that I was stitching. After about an hour of stitching, the phone rang. It was Bryan, so we did our genealogy over the phone. That was a 3 hours conversation between us. His "neighbor" is a TRUE, and he was trying to find out if he's related to us. Come to find out with what he was telling me and adding more people to the tree, I believed he was the grandson of Conrad. We chatted about it, and I told him I would let him know when I was ready to chat more. In the meantime, I got a text stating he found out his "neighbor" is the grandson of Conrad, who we thought it was. So, now we have a connection. He's going to give him the information we have, so he can learn about his TRUE family. I figured out his grandparents divorced before his father was born and remarried before he was born as well. Man! I do have an interesting family on mom's side. One thing after another.

After supper I wanted to get more done. I really was wanting to work on something all day but kept going to my games. I guess something is bothering me, but don't know what. I know I need to work on the family history, family letters, and the like, but I have things I want to do as well.

A few stitches later, I was on my way. I found I didn't get the 10x10 step done last time, so I am working on it now. I have the step next to it as well as the step I should have had done. I'm getting there. Patrick called it early tonight, so I wasn't able to do as much as I wanted. No worries, I will get back to it. I'm working on it a lot more than I did with the Santa Claus. I may already have another one ready to do after this.

At least today, I was home and trying to do what I wanted. Stitching was on my mind (as well as beading). So, that makes today Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
