Today was another busy day. Patrick was off to Olympia for his appointment. Then I was off to my Physical Therapy appointment. By the time I came back, Patrick was home, and I had 20 minutes to get ready for another trip to Olympia for our appointments. Patrick had his MRI and CAT scans, while I had a mammogram and possible ultrasound.
We were early in Olympia, so I ended up waiting 30 minutes for Cindy to find me. She picked up the 2 quilts we had in question. We talked about this. I showed her the problems with the quilts, and she said she was going to have to have a chat with the gal. I told her I hated to return them, but in the condition, they were in, I couldn't give them out. She took them. We chatted for a while. I do like Cindy. She's positive where we need positive.
After meeting with Cindy, I went for my appointment. I was let in and had the mammogram done. It was sore having to be picked "to death." But I got used to it and bit my tongue for the pinching involved. Then I ended up waiting about 20 mins for the doctor to come and tell me what I had. We went into the room and chatted. He told me, it was the same as it was last year. Fluid in the lump. It's from surgery, so it's common and that I could have the ultrasound done if I wanted, but it would still be the same resolution. I told him I'm happy with that, and no, I didn't need the ultrasound for proof. Then I was happy to leave.
We stopped at Dick's Brewery for supper and then came on home. By that time, it was 5:30 pm. What a day.
I tried to work on my stitching but really wasn't in the mood to work on it. I did get some work done, so that's a plus.
I was able to roll the piece. It's still close to the bottom but I can still stitch there without any trouble. I was able to get to the middle area before I decided I just wasn't in the mood.
Of course, Sophie wasn't having any of it. She didn't want me working on my piece and was getting in my way. Another reason I wasn't quiet there. So, I enjoyed my cat and called it done. At least a few stitches was Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
