Trying to Do Something

This morning, I was up with Patrick. He went golfing and I waited about an hour before leaving for Physical Therapy. Mom called me while I was there but didn't answer it. She seems to know when to call.

I went to her place after and dropped off some material that she wanted for cutting more 4.5" squares. OMG!! I don't know what I can do with all those squares. There must be enough for 20 quilts right now. AND I can't get her to put a quilt together!! She just wants to cut the fabric! As we talked about what we could do with the squares, she came up with another design to use the 9-patches! AND SHE WON'T MAKE THE QUILT!! She keeps giving me the squares to make quilts with! At this rate I won't be making panel quilts for a while, and we really need them. SO, she decided she needed to come over here and get more fabric - TO CUT FABRIC!

I then asked her if she would let me give a box of that fabric we cleaned out to the church. She was stalling but gave me a box. Then when I got home, she called to tell me she changed her mind. She wanted my niece to get it all. Okay, sorry but that ticked me off. I let her know I wasn't happy with the decision, but I would give her the box back when she came to get more fabric.  Then she calls me back to say she called my niece to see if it was okay, and she said it was. SERIOUSLY! Some of that fabric was mine! She's giving her 6 boxes of fabric, and she had to ASK my niece if it was okay for me to take one box!

She came over and took about 2 boxes of fabric with her! Then I forgot to take the bolts out to her car. Now worries, not in a big hurry for her to cut more fabric at this rate. I am overwhelmed with all these squares and have no clue how I'm going to get them into quilts! I can't even work on my panel quilts and that's driving me crazy! I even told her I need tops, not squares. I can't do all these tops on my own and with Debbie and I being the only ones that do the panels, I can't do this. She just looked at me like, "Well, why not?!" UGH

While I waited for her to get here, and a little after she left, I worked on the quilt on the floor.

I got 2 rows stitched together, and now I just need to stitch the 2 row sets with the last row. I had to stop because my foot was having nothing of the kind. I did what I could and will keep trying to finish this. I let Rita know about this for the Gala at the museum and she said they could do it. That's one thing off my mind; I just need to finish it to get it to the church.

After she left, I played games. I was tired of all this!

Then after supper, I pulled out my cross stitching. I needed to calm down one way or another.

Then of course, I got to an area where it has empty places for the beads. Which is close to confetti when it comes to cross stitching. So, I gave up, I wanted to do easy stitching without having to jump over areas for where the beads go. It just wasn't my day!

So, even though it wasn't much I can say today ended up Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
