A Day At Home

Today was the first day in over a week that I was able to just stay home. Patrick went golfing and I listened to one audiobook after another. I was playing my games and trying to do laundry. I realized I only got 2 loads in because my mind was on my game.

After Patrick came home and went back to Olympia for his finger appointment, I started to work on my beading.

I finished the second set of panels and started the next set. I made a few errors on the second set, but I'm going to leave them. I didn't want to take them out since it's halfway up the panel. I started the next one. It felt good to finish the second set. I have 2 more panels to go, then I can get started on the ones for this year.

Patrick came home without the brace on his finger. The interesting part is that it still droops but not as much as it did. Looks funny but not as funny as when he damaged it. He did say it hasn't hurt the whole time. That's a good thing.

When I got up to get something to drink, I came back to my chair to find Sophie looking at me like it was her chair, and I was the one intruding. I had to pick her up and move her. First time I have seen her sit like this. lol

I actually enjoyed knowing I didn't have to go anywhere, and I could just enjoy the day at home. Tomorrow is PT and moms. Really not looking forward to it, but I will have to stop and pick up some stuff for lunch. It's going to be taco's and we all are bringing something for it. I my appointment before that, so I will have to leave early to get what I need for tomorrow.

At least I had an enjoyable day. Patrick brought home pizza and I had 1 piece since I have a hard time with pizza's. He was sweet and got me the chicken wings. So, all in all I was enjoying Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
