This morning, Patrick went golfing. I got up about 30 mins after he left. Then I enjoyed sitting down and playing games. I even watched the documentary on Gene Wilder. It was interesting but only worked on his carrier and not on his childhood. It was pretty good. Surprised me a couple times. I didn't watch all his movies, partly because it was too silly for me. I never understood why movies made silly movies that were way out in the field. It wasn't funny to me because I didn't understand the jokes sometimes.
Then I pulled out my beading.
After Gene Wilder documentary, I watched a British show of murder. One of their cop shows. I am finding that they are all similar. Just like our shows. They all have a guy and a gal. They all work together to figure out who did it. Like the comedy shows - same show different people.
Then we shut the TV off and I worked on my beading, listening to my book on tape. I do like listening to my books while I work. Better than watching the same old same old that Patrick likes to watch.
I can say, in working on this ornament, that I finished a whole panel and worked on the next. The panel that I started on was around the bottom of the vest area. I now have it close to the bottom of the panel. So, I'm happy to say I can do one panel in a day if I put my mind to it.
Which made my day a success! Patrick didn't have any bright ideas of doing something. The glass guys came and couldn't replace the glass due to not having the right size ladder. So, it will be a day or two before they can come back.
I had planned on working on genealogy while they were here. Patrick wanted the computer, so I set the timer for an hour and worked on his family history. I got a few more names added. Only about 5 but I was working on it. I could add more, but that was off the branch a-ways, and I need to stay on the tree more. At least, today, I did what I wanted to do, not what was asked of me to do. It felt good. And I enjoyed working on the beads, which made me Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
