Today, I didn't want to get up. I figure I'm still trying to get rid of whatever it is I have. Trouble is, I talk like a frog and everything else is fine. So, who knows what this is.
Patrick was golfing, so I played for a bit. When he got home, we left for the casino. We started out with some money to play on. Of course. that didn't last long. We played on our money and when we finally found a machine to play on, it kept us going for a while. It was nice. We played a good 4 hours. Then we ate at the deli there. Their food is good and we only pay from the card. So, it really isn't costing us - or at least it seems that way. But when you spend as much as we do, we are actually paying for it with the money they give back. NOT a win, win, but it works for me.
Came home and had to get 3 quilt tops ready for quilting. I picked up 2 from Martha but one of them was really short. I'm glad she didn't finish it off, because it needs more rows. I will work on it later. I have 2 quilt tops to work on now. I have to add the border to the one Mary brought me a couple months ago too. This one I got today will take a little longer. Once the backing and batting was cut, I started washing the backings. I will drop 2 of the 5 tops off at the church to be quilted. The other three I will take with me to the garage sale for Colleen or Kelsey to pick up. We have plenty that need quilting. So, I need to get moving on getting the other 2 done.
We watched the "state of the union address" and I won't say any more. I was happy to see those honored - at least most of them - but the rest was - well let's not say.
It's been a decent day. I should have been doing something but just didn't feel like it. This thing I have, has taken my energy. Which put me in the wishing stage of Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
