This morning, I was cleaning up. Had things to do and get done.
Once all that was done, I played games. Watched TV and played games. Wasn't in the mood to do much till around 2 pm.
Then I pulled out my cross stitching.
I worked on the upper left area. Now I'm coming back down. I had to take out a good part of the area in the top left where the green is. I had the wrong color there. So, I ripped it out and put it back in.
I was having fun with this; I must have put 400 stitches in today. I think it looks better in the photo right now. At least I can tell what it is. The arm is coming through now. I have more to do on the dress and then I will be heading back down. I was off a couple times today but figured out what I did wrong and got back on track.
Yesterday, we had the presentation of the 9 active-duty personnel. My brother did an awesome job, but we had some trouble with the person before him. She doesn't want to let go of the position, so I need to work on that.
They were awesome to work with. I have photos but will post them on Facebook first before I post them here. It was like being home again, in a way. I do miss the military life and always have after I was no longer a dependent. At 19 years old, my life turned upside down. It wasn't easy, and even today, I still have a hard time with not being on a base. But life is good!
At least I was able to get more done today and be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
