Cleaning Day

This morning, I needed to get the laundry going and get the trash outside. Scott came by and put our trash cans out. Don't know why Patrick didn't think I could do that. I ended up taking trash out and recycling after he had taken it to the curb. Can't win.

I worked on my family history and added another 100 names. I know I could have done more, but I'm more interested right now in the direct line. I actually worked on the WILDER and ENSIGN family names. Those are new to me. They are my 9th and 10th great grandparents. I found a couple of them were killed by Indians in the 1700's. Around 1704. More information is available, so I'm having to read the documents I find. I see others have the parents, but I found in the past that they had the wrong parents. So, I won't post them till I know for a fact it's them. I also did some work on the SHEPARD/SHEPHARD families. That is actually a closer connection than the Wilder's and Ensigns. But they do connect to my Shepard family.

After about 4 hours of working on that, I called it quits. I got the bed put together. I added the heating pad that Patrick ordered so that he can warm the bed. I don't know if it's any better than the other ones we had, but we will see. I could put mine at 2 and his at 10 and they would end up the same heat. Having a new one may help. Once the bed was made and all was good, I played on my tablet.

Patrick is resting most of the day - which he needs to do. It's going to be slow going with him resting all the time. Can't get much done. But then, that's life.

It didn't turn out for me to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
