This morning, Patrick's nurse showed up. Then I went out to get some tomatoes for Phil since he has been canning them.
We arrived around 11 am and it was almost dead. The casino is losing business. It has to be. The games were playing a little better than when we played on Wednesday, but we are seriously considering stopping for a while. We did play for 4 hours, but we weren't winning enough to keep playing. I like playing on their money, but their money is cut in half. Not enough to really go out and play with. We did get the gifts today. They are security (buttons ?) that are put in the window or door to hear if anyone is coming in. We don't have use for them, but maybe Katt or Phil will want them. If not, they go in the garage sale.
I got a check for $8 from the Fair. That's what the quilts won. lol I didn't get my winnings. lol
I pretty much played games. I went into my war game to find my dear friend has stopped playing for a while. I may join her. I sent a message to one of the German gentlemen we play with to see if he's stopped as well. If he has, I won't be playing anymore. I have other games I can play.
I did get my sewing machine stuff together. I'm missing a couple things I thought I had but haven't found yet. I may have given them away. I will check again tomorrow. I will get it all together to take in on Friday. Once that is done, I will have a new sewing/embroidery machine. I wasn't planning on the embroidery part, but it was cheaper than the one I was originally thinking of getting. Still more than I want to pay, but not really bad. The one I wanted was close to $4k, and this one is around $2,900. I'm okay with that since the rest of them were more like $10k.
I'll probably sew this weekend just to get used to it. I might even get that top done. That would really make me Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!
