Here we go again, never ending circle of days. And we are back to Saturday. At least I don't have plans today, so I could start working on something I was thinking about.
I went downstairs to hook up my embroidery machine and see what I could do. My table runners arrived today. I had an idea for one of them, but when I was looking at it, it was too tall for the table runner. Took up too much space.
I used the threads I had for the embroidery work. The blue thread I used that was "fine embroidery" turned out to be crap. I used a couple of them, since I didn't have the colors, I needed. Since I'm starting over with threads, it wasn't very helpful. So, I ordered some threads today and it will get here first thing in the morning. Patrick had an idea for the table runner, and I'm planning on trying it out. I need to figure out how much distance I need for it. This was just something to try out. I was a little upset that the pattern shows the belly all yellow, but the actual pattern in the machine doesn't have the yellow throughout. It's actually like this.
This was an all morning/afternoon trail. I did play my war game and didn't do so good. I need to work on it.
After supper, I decided to watch "our shows" and get some cross stitching done.
I was working on the upper 3 tiers. I filled in more spots, but confetti isn't my favorite as I have been complaining about it. It's coming along though. I figure the more I work on it, the sooner it can get done.
Patrick was watching SNL tonight. I wasn't impressed with the new stuff. One was so much sexual content that I really didn't care for it. When Tom Hanks was on, it was a lot better and funny. The other 2 shows I could have done without. I should have put my earbuds in.
It turned out to be 2 for 1 day. Which is always Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
