Sandy's Retirement Party

Today, I just wanted to get things cleaned up and then I pretty much worked on my genealogy all morning and part of the afternoon.

We went to Sandy's retirement party at the Olympic Club in Centralia. We went into a room I didn't know they had. lol It was fun. We chatted with friends and then came home after about an hour and a half. It was a 3-hour thing.  I did enjoy it. Patrick was chatting with Judy, who used to work with him. They were getting caught up on city friends.

We always have fun together! She's a kick! Laughing is what we do.

Came home and I pretty much came back into the computer room to work on family history. I even posted on the "LETTERS FROM THE PAST" blog about Judy Reeder who was murdered and it's still an unsolved case. I researched her classmates and found several of them were murdered as well. Her's is the only unsolved murder that I know of. I have always been interested in that case. Grandmother got a letter from her mother with the newspaper article in it. Grandmother tied to hush it up, but I listened in to find out what happened.

So, my genealogy family work today was - TRUE, WILTZIUS, CHRISLER, MATHESON. There are plenty names connected to the Matheson family. I also worked on the PERKINS side but didn't get very far. I did figure out where I might have a mistake with Henry Trew. His son, my line, was Josiah according to what I had. Grandmother's notes called him Tom and said he ran away because he was a "bound boy." He lived in Ohio and married there. TUTTLE is her last name. It does get to be interesting when you find stories like that.

So, I really didn't do anything when it comes to Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
