Wednesday At Home

Today, we both slept later than we normally do. I was up before Patrick, which was a change in a long time. He was always up at 7 am.

I got moving with laundry. Then I headed downstairs to check on my sewing machine stuff I need to take in on Friday. Once that was done, I worked on the computer for a bit. Had a few things to get done. I had to change our QOV email address and then order business cards to replace the ones that had "QOV" in the email. We are no longer allowed to use "QOV" or "QOVF" in any of our emails. Doesn't make sense but we can't. Every group that has that in the email had to change it. So, with Business cards out there, we had to change it. I just put the old email to forward to the new one. I have a few more things to do but not doing it now. Now I have to change my "Quilts of Valor Projects" and meetings to Veteran Quilt Projects and meetings. It's a pain in my rear because I have been posting over 5 years on what we have been doing. I can't violate copyright laws.

I did get my walking in. I like my new watch and believe it counts my steps a heck of a lot better. I haven't quite gotten to 10k steps, but I'm getting there.

I decided to sit and do some beading.

I was able to get 3 rows in. Patrick and I were saying how Sophie's noise is a little weird, but that's because of her coloring. If she didn't have the yellow coloring there, it wouldn't show so bad. Calico cats tend to have color all over. I did get the collar finished. Now it's the body. More yellow and orange will be showing through. Plus, she has more white.

Then I gave up and decided to work on my cross stitching.

I didn't get much done, but I'm working on it. The "yellowish" coloring in the middle, I believe is the cat tail. The more I get done the more I will figure it out. Still a lot of confetti in this. The spots around the tail area are colors I am not doing right now and don't have much around to move to. I may end up filling them in and hoping for the best.

I have another hour before I call it a night, so I will be sitting there working on this and Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
