Patrick was off golfing, and I was sleeping in. When I got up, I decided I wasn't in the mood to do anything. So, I started laundry.
Patrick got home and made the comment that I said I would make the zucchini bread of grandmothers. I told him I could do it tomorrow, but NO, we were going to be gone tomorrow, and zucchini doesn't last long, so the sooner I do it the better. UGH He also reminded me about something else that needed to be done, so I had to do that first. Not my day.
I got to work on the kitchen, since the dishwasher was needing to be unloaded. There were the 2 cast on pans that needed cleaning. So, of course that had to be done first. I washed the stuff that needed to be washed. Then I got to work on his zucchini.
It's grandmothers Zucchini Bread recipe that's in the other blog of mine. I will show the photo there. I was sent back in time with this bread! Grandma always made it around this time of year.
Once all that was done, it was cleaning up the kitchen again. Finishing up the laundry. By the time I could sit and do NOTHING, it was Family Feud time. So, I didn't get to enjoy the day as I was planning - OH Crap - I planned my day - and we all know how that goes!!
Now I have 3 quilt tops that are going to quilters tomorrow. That should keep us going for a while. I have another quilt top downstairs. I made sure to end out the non-monetary donation forms to QOV and mail it to the sender. I still need to get the nomination forms in that I have. I will do that this week.
We didn't do all that good at Panada this last Thursday. Shame. But at least we did make some money.
AGAIN, it wasn't meant to be - Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
