Keep Moving!

This morning, Patrick's nurses came to work on his wound. Then we left to go to the museum and collect two quilts to go up to Cindy and Stars and Strips. They may or may not need the quilt, but I offered. The quilt to Cindy is for our group recognition at the Puyallup show. Then we headed to Olympia. I took two finished quilts to the museum, and they are now ready for tomorrow and November 11th.

Patrick had his surgeons meeting, and I waited out in the car for Sherry to show up. I gave her, her two quilts, one for Cindy and one for them. We chatted for a while. Another gal from her group met us as well. She was giving her a roll of batting. I did find out because QOV™ had us change all our emails because of the scam that all the group leaders received. At least that made more sense. Then Patrick came out and we headed home.

I wanted to get my bread baking when we got home. So, I heated up the oven and then got on the computer to do a few things for QOV™. I called several veterans and got one scheduled for Nov 11th.

Finished these two loaves and then headed out to Red Lobster. I wanted to have these done, and I pulled out my bamboo baskets to raise the dough in. I realized they don't work that well with me. I turned them on parchment paper and they deflated a bit. When I raise them in a bowl with parchment paper in the bowl, I don't end up deflating the bread. I will get rid of the bamboo bowls and stick with what I know. They aren't as fluffy as they could have been. Live and learn.

We came back from Red Lobster, and I got back to work on contacting veterans to let them know it will be January or February for a quilt. I also called a couple people, but they didn't call me back, so thinking they can't make it tomorrow. Patrick's favorite saying, "It is what it is."

Now I'm going to try and get some stitching in on my cross stitching - that would be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
