We Need To Moved To Olympia At This Rate

We had to be in Rochester by 10 am. So, we got the kits ready to go. I had a gal from the fair say she was willing to do the kits if we had them. Patrick and I have been keeping them up. I have 3 more kits for anyone that needs them. Colleen has 2 to give away to another gal.

I met up with Martha at the QVC parking lot and gave her the kits. Then we headed to the casino. We played on their money for a while. Then we pretty much played and lost it. We decided to have a meal there. I got the fish and chips while Patrick got fruit. We had to leave by 2:30 pm. Patrick went out for his phone chat with one of the care team. Then we headed to Olympia.

We arrived in time for his appointment. My stomach was acting up. I don't know why. Then I figured it must be the "fried" part of the fish, so it was greasy. That didn't help me since I cut that all out a while back. I waited out in the waiting room because I didn't want to go in to see the new oncologist. While he was in there, I got a call from gastro letting me know they had a cancelation tomorrow and asked if I could come in. I said I could and now I have to be back in Olympia tomorrow at 12:30 pm. Patrick has golfing and should be back in time. UGH He wondered why I didn't say not tomorrow, but I told him I wanted to get this over with. I didn't want to wait till November to see him. This way, it done and I will ask questions I have been wondering about. UGH

Came home and was in the bathroom more than I care to admit. It finally calmed down. We watched TV and then called it a night. Not a day or night to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Good Grief! Another Tuesday Goes By!

Today is Tuesday! Not Monday, Not Wednesday, but Tuesday! Time flies anymore. One minute I'm looking forward to the weekend and Tuesday arrived a lot faster than Monday does. UGH

I was up shortly after Patrick head out to golfing. I needed to be up for Val to stop by. She has another top for me. That will make it about 15 tops that need to be quilted. At this rate we will be doing great to start out the new year.

After Val left Patrick came home. We had to run up to Olympia for his blood tests. But we had a few things to do first. Stopped at the church to pick up 2 quilts that were quilted, then to the bank to drop off money for the water. Once all that was done, we headed to Olympia for the blood tests. Took about an hour, because there were 17 people in front of him. One person after we said she was 20th after Patrick. I saw a few people turn around and leave. Some of the numbers before his, didn't show up, so it went faster. Funny how fast it went after he went in.

Headed back home with a stop at moms to drop off the 2 quilts from the church. Then we went to WinCo for groceries. We really didn't get much but we really weren't that impressed either. Got a few things, but not much.

Got the Round Robin information in the mail. I called my son and daughter-in-law to help me. They found a cute pattern of a stuff bear. I'm going to have them do some stitches on the whole body. Should be pretty.

Came home and mom called. Trish, who took a quilt "kit" on Friday, had the quilt top done. So, she wanted to make another one. Mom and she came over and picked out the panels she could use for another plus some fabric.  At this rate we will be full with quilts. Another quilt arrived in the mail. So, it's all done and ready to go.

It's perfect for a veteran. I like this pattern. We tried to do that one, but it didn't come out well. I think one of the quilters have it now.

I lost my keys! I was looking all over the place for my car keys! I looked everywhere. Then I figured it was under the chair, NOPE. After searching the whole house and Patrick looking as well, I found them in my hoodie that was on the back of the chair. I had gone through the hoodie in the laundry, but it wasn't there, instead it was on the one ON MY CHAIR! UGH I will not live this down! Patrick was out looking in the car. We had insurance on getting another key, but don't know if they will honor it, Patrick thinks it's a scam and we paid for it. But he is going to try anyway to get another key.

My day was busy, from the time I got up to the time I can call it a night. Now I need to stretch before I go to bed. It didn't work out to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

My Busy Mondays!

This morning, I could wait to leave for embroidery. I had a ton of stuff to do afterwards.

Arrived at the grange to find Sandy there. I haven't chatted with her for a while. We had a good visit. She worked on one of her projects that she wanted to get done. I worked on my Seattle piece and started on the mountain. I didn't like it at first but just needed to keep going. I will work more on it later. No photo yet.

After our meeting, I headed to moms. I was able to drop off the coolers for her. Then I picked up the kit pieces for 2 kits. I also got the quilts back that I had her work on the labels. My car was packed because I had stuff from Mary that she gave me at the grange. All that was to go to Colleen. My next stop was Colleen's, and I asked Debbie to get me an iced tea at DB. Sent her a free drink for it.

Funny part was, her being longer than me, since she was closer. We both met up at Colleen's. Dropped off more stuff for the garage sale. It was a lot. She's got to have that room packed. She was working on the garage sale stuff when we arrived. The garage sale is coming up, and Patrick is going to help with getting all the stuff she did to the grange the day before. Should be busy again.

Debbie followed me home to pick up a quilt to quilt. She said as long as I don't need it right away, she would do it. I gave her the panel so it will get done for Veterans Day. We have 2 Coast Guard quilts ready but so far, no Coast Guard members on our list. Weird!

Brought a few things home to put away. Wasn't there yet.

I needed to work on the QOV stuff for next week. Donna and I went through all the names on our list and figured out who was awarded, who wasn't and if somewhere still waiting. We have 10 for next week. That works for me, because we have about 30 that are a year old. I did cancel a couple. It took me about 3 hours between chatting with Donna and getting emails out to the veterans letting them know we have them to present to. It is a long process. I now need to send an email to everyone to let them know who is being awarded. I decided I was done with doing QOV stuff and stopped. I will do the email tomorrow.

I was nonstop today. At least I was able to spend time with Sandy and be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
