Hello Saturday & No Power

This morning, I was up early to get to play my war game. I was playing another part later in the day but decided I wasn't going to do it. So, I got out of it. I get tired of being killed off. lol

I needed to get the kits ready for Colleen, since she was coming over to get them. Patrick suggested we work the bolts out of the pantry and put them out where I can get to them - let alone see them. So, we got it set up.

Now it's easy to see and pick what we need for backing.

Since the "boxes" were on top of another set, he pulled these down and put them there. That is where we keep the branch specific. It works out. I thought of the bigger box set but it would stick out too far. Then I went through the patterns in a binder that was given to us. I added the ones I use for the kits. That way they are all in the same place. Trouble is some of them are way too big and need to be downsized. That's hard to tell someone in a kit. I will figure something out.

Bryan called and we were working on the family history when the power went out. Not sure what happened but it affected about 4k people. So, I listened to my book after Patrick and I chatted about this and that.

I was able to get the second part done this far. I stopped when it was supper time and then decided to just let it go. I'm not really wanting to do it but I know I need to. I will try and keep this going! I need to.

Power finally came on when we sat down to eat. He had to cook our meal out on the grill. I had a baked potato in the oven. Then had to transfer it to the grill. I would rather of had it in the oven. Needed a better potato too.

We watched our show and I'm playing a different game. I like moving around at times. At least today, I found the time to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
