Taking the Day OFF

This morning I woke to my own snoring!! I couldn't believe it. So, I got up and played on my tablet. After about 30 mins, I started falling asleep, so climbed on the couch and went back to sleep.

Patrick was up and complaining about Miss Kitty meowing all morning. He took the day off, so he was home. Miss Kitty couldn't go 30 mins with out meowing because she wanted to play or just go out. She was meowing for EVERY reason! I put her outside when I went back to sleep on the couch.

We called dad to see if he wanted to go to the casino with us. We went around 10 am today. We picked dad up. We all had a good time. Patrick even won over $500. So, it was a good day! Then we went to Arby's for lunch. After that we came home and got read for grocery shopping. We then went and did our monthly shopping. That took another hour and then some.

By the time we got home it was already 4 pm. We sat and enjoyed TV for awhile before getting supper going.

After supper I went downstairs and worked on my envelope bag for my cross stitch.

Since my fusible batting arrived today, I was in a hurry to make one! It turned out okay. I found a couple things I'd do different next time. But hey, it works! I like how it came out, now I need to put the velco on it. I'll put them in the flap and then it's done. I used some fabrics that I've had for "forever." It was a good way to use up some of my fabrics. I want to do some smaller ones as well. I'm hoping to get a few embroidery stitches on the bag and give a couple out at seminar to my friends. I really need to get back to embroidery and get a couple things done.

Now it's almost bed time and I'm not any closer to getting anything done! I will work on it tomorrow. I did get a call to work on Saturday. I told my friend I would help her out. So, I'm going to make some money this year. lol

Happy Stitching!
