A Little Too Cold For My Blood!

Today we took off to the casino. Patrick's Saturday stop - when he is on a winning streak. Today wasn't so lucky and if I'm lucky we'll take a break next weekend.

After that, we went to the movies! We saw "The Good Dinosaur." I actually liked it. It really isn't a really good movie for children. There are sad points to this one. But at the same time, it works out "fear" that the dinosaur has.

We then stopped and bought more yarn - and yes, I named it wrong!

It's Peaches & Creme. I wrote it done wrong yesterday (and I'll go change it!)

This one is a purple variegated color. I should have no problems getting two sets out of this if ont more. I think I had only about 3/4's of the other one.

I was able to get more quilting in last night.

I finished up this corner. It went really fast. I had put in a LOT of quilting last night. I have this about 1/3 done so far. I was really happy to see how much I had done! This is going faster than I thought. I may actually get both the pot holders and this quilt done by next Sunday....I'm hoping!!

Patrick ordered me another cell phone. I couldn't believe it! Patrick was having trouble with his phone, and bought one about two weeks ago. When it came in, I think my phone felt left out, because it decided to go blank on me. I shut it off and turned it back on. So far so good, but that was the second time that happened. Patrick got the same phone for me that he got for himself. Would you believe it was $20 cheaper than his?! Guess it helps to have a phone bite the dust over the holidays!

I'm sitting here watching the news. I'm sorry, but I'm getting sick of the riots.

I'm going to stay home tomorrow - except for bowling. It was 28 degrees this morning and the fog was thick all day. We came home via I-5 from Walmart to our exit, and the view of North bound was really slow. The view because of fog was about a football field. Fog is so thick today. We were told it's going to be 28-30 degrees in the morning. UGH It's so thick that in the morning it looks like it snowed, when it didn't. Guess this year is going to we REALLY cold.

As long as I can stay home and keep warm, I'm Happy Quilting!!
