Another Trip To The Casino

This morning, we decided to go to the casino. We didn't have any plans, and Patrick hasn't golfed for a couple of days. He really doesn't like the cold weather. So, this gave him something to do. We played first with their money and then ours. I ran into Bev and her husband Robert. Robert used to work at the museum but lately he's cut back there. We chatted; it was good to see them both. They apparently go on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. If Patrick wasn't golfing, chances are we would go that often too, but this is enough. I think we were there 3 times this week though.

Came home around 4:30 pm. I had to work on my speech for tomorrow and chat with my brother about times. Then I had to work on getting stuff ready for Donna as well. I think I'm ready for tomorrow but just need to read and re-read the speech before I will be comfortable.

We had supper when we got home. I decided to play. I didn't want to work on anything since I am a little nervous about tomorrow. I hope it goes well. Donna asked the news people to show up as well as the newspaper. So, I hope it goes well.

It was a quiet day for both of us. We just relaxed when we got home. We are going to meet with my brother's family tomorrow after the presentation. Patrick told them about the Rib Eye steak house, and I think we all will be going there afterwards.

So, as much as I would have liked, it didn't turn out to be my day of Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

I Tried!

This morning, I was up and playing my war games. Then Patrick came home and I was playing my war game "war" for an hour. Once that was done, I kept playing.

I did bake a "Better Than Sex" cake today.

I started to work on my cross stitching. Then after supper I sat to work on it some more - till my phone rang. Judy called me from WI and wanted to talk to me about being on a committee for Brazilian Embroidery. I told her I wasn't happy with the way things are going but would be willing to be on the committee to talk about changes. The meeting is the 2nd of March. So, I will try it out. If I can help, I will renew my membership, but if not, I won't. Didn't comment to the membership part. We ended up chatting for over an hour.

Patrick went to his meeting and was back before I was done with Judy.

I went back to what I was working on. Then Sophie moved over on my lap and decided she wanted to play with the threads. When that didn't work, she put her paws in the way. So, that pretty much stopped me from doing much more. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

This is how it works, put the paw there, then fall asleep so I can't do squat. Must be nice! I could throw her off me, but tonight I know she would be back because I shut her out of the computer room while I was on the phone. She seems happier with me this way. Otherwise, I could get the moving around me, getting in my way - other ways - and then climb on me and get in my face. Trust me, this was easier.

I guess I can just be happy I was able to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

From Busy To Lazy

This morning, I needed to get stuff ready and head out the door. I had to redo the certificate and get it ready for the male. Then I had to get the quilts in the house done with labels and get them ready to go to the museum. I had to stitch down one of the labels, but that wasn't hard. I was hoping to be out the door by 10:05 am but had to wait till 10:30 am.

First stop was at Jo's to pick up the panel quilt. Then it was off to the museum where I met up with Debbie. We put the quilts away and will decide on Saturday which ones we will use. Then I had to head to Walmart - not my favorite place but was able to get in and out without any trouble. Then headed to the post office to mail the certificate. Next Safeway, I had to get my heavy cream to make ice cream with the new "My Mug Ice Cream Maker" that we got at the casino. Off to say hi to my son and then home.

Got home and fixed lunch. I was hunger. Then I sat and watched TV with Patrick while working on the laundry and playing my games. It wasn't my best day playing but I have a way of ticking people off! lol

It's been busy and lazy today. But it hasn't been Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Presentation At The Chehalis Tribe

Today, I was sleeping in. I didn't want to get up. 9 am was the time I decided to move! Patrick was already in the living room.

We left around 11:15 am. Patrick dropped me off at the Elder Center and he went on to the casino to play. I didn't think about it, but I could have dropped him off and then came over.

We had lunch with the Elders. Then we did the presentation for 2 veterans. It was awesome! We were holding up the quilt forever while the first veteran talked about being a Green Bera (sp?). He served in 1965-1967. It was fascinating to hear his tails. Then he went from Vietnamese to English with ease. It was awesome to hear.

Our presentation was quick and sweet. The longest part was listening to the veterans who told us what they did. It was well received and they want us to come back and honor more veterans. This is a good relationship with the Chehalis Tribe. I'm looking forward to honoring their Tribal members.

Debbie dropped me off at the casino and then I played with Patrick. He said he wasn't doing very good. So, I played with him and he was doing better. At least he didn't lose everything he had. lol  Only about half.

Came home around 6 pm. I was tired the whole time at the casino and now. I'm thinking of calling it a night early. I need to stop yawning! lol

So, my day wasn't anywhere close to being Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Embroidery Today & Getting Ready For Tomorrow

This morning, I was up early. Had breakfast and played for a bit. Then I got all my stuff ready for the day. Loaded the car and headed to DB for my tea. It was a long line today. But I was only about 5 minutes late. Gerilyn was right behind me as was Sandy.

We had 5 of us and enjoyed it! I even ordered 4 of the "Welcome" pieces that we all want to work on. It's a training piece, but hopefully we will get it done as a group.

I worked on my rose.

I did the detached buttonhole stitch in the middle with the darker red. I also worked on the bullions for the top of the rose. I have more to do there. The detached buttonhole is not hard, but not easy either. I had to take it out a couple times before I got it right. The bullions (2) are under the buttonhole stitch. It will be interesting how it goes. I have to do 3 rows of detached buttonhole stitches around the flower. I am also going to have to add some satin stitches in the outer petals to get rid of the white showing through.

Let and went to moms to pick up another quilt top. Now I have 2 that need backing and batting. That will get me to 4 that need quilting. I want to give the church the one I got today.

Came home and worked on some stuff for tomorrow. I needed to do the 2 certificates. I didn't know how to spell the one name, so had to call him. He sounded like he couldn't stay long and wondered if we were just going to hand him a quilt. Told him, "no," we would talk about him and his service. I think he loved that. He asked if he could talk too, and I said we will see. I think he should be able to talk about his service. I had to get all the paperwork done and ready.

Donna called 3 times. She wanted to tell me about what she's doing and asked about stuff I told her to ask Debbie about.

Then I was tired of everything and played my games. lol At least I was able to enjoy friends and be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Interesting Day

This morning, I was up around 8 am to play our game. I wanted to play in the kingdom fight. So, while a friend was playing my one account, and it started at 4 am, I got up to play my other account. Both went well from what I can tell. It was only my 4th time playing it.

Then I had to get ready for the play. Patrick and I signed up for the playhouse in Centralia.

This playhouse is small but fun. It's been going since the 1950's and a few movie/TV stars have played in it. A couple have since passed away, but they did play here.

"A Crazy Little Cafe Called Love" was the play. It was pretty good. There was some disconnect, but I figured it out eventually. I almost wonder if I'm getting tired of going. I did like the play. It's hard, because there are some plays, I have been to that were great! I loved them. Then there were a couple I wondered why I bothered, and then there was the ones that were good, but didn't make up for that great one I saw not long ago. This was good! Don't get me wrong. Tonight was the last night.

We then went to Arby's to have supper. Came home and I just sat to relax. Remembering I needed to cut some backing and batting, get fabrics for Georgie and grab the bolt for Colleen before I forget. So, I ended up cutting fabric and batting. Opening our new batting. Then I went through the materials to see what would work for Georgie. I pull a pile for her. Now I have all that plus the 2 quilts mom dropped off hoping someone would take them to stitch the binding on - to go to Georgie's. Mom's still sick, so we are at Georgie's tomorrow.

So, I'm finally calling it my day. Which means I was not Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!

Yet Another Saturday

This morning, both Patrick and I slept in. It felt good.

Then Debbie and I met up at the museum to figure out what quilts will be used for Saturday and which 2 we will use for Tuesday. We had a time trying to figure out which ones to use. We talked about Tuesday and worked on Saturday's presentations. We have 2 on Tuesday at the Chehalis Tribe and then 10 more on Saturday with the active-duty veterans. It will be fun. I got the quilt ready to go to the museum that was here at the house.

I went and got the car washed, then got us a couple of drinks. Once I had that done, I stopped at Safeway for some hamburger meat and rolls. We decided to have hamburgers.

Came home and ended up working on the water system bookkeeping. Once that was done, paid a couple bills and worked on QOV stuff.

My order for fabrics came in and I was pleased with the colors that came in!

These are the solid materials that will work on the kits Patrick and I keep putting together. I need to finish that kit that is started but not finished. I may do that before I do the panel on the wall. I also got the batting and backing that we needed as well. Things are looking up lately. I will wait on Martha's two quilts to drop off at the church. I got ahold of Rita at the church and told her it may be a couple weeks.

I haven't done anything close to Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!

Friday At The Casino

This morning, I had the morning to myself. It was awesome. I played my games. Then I went for my walk. Patrick came back from golfing when I was done.

We headed out to the casino. I wanted to get the chocolates that they were giving out - to those who spend way too much money gambling. lol It was a heart tin of about 18 pieces of chocolate. We played on the money we get every Friday and then spent some of the money we won about two weeks ago. So, we are still playing on the money we won a while back. Like Patrick said, we haven't taken any money out to play this month. lol

Had supper there around 3:30 pm. Then played some more. Once that was over, we came home. It was about 5 pm when we got home. I just wanted to play my game. I did make some hot chocolate for us, because I was looking forward to it. Then my stomach let me know it doesn't like milk. LOL I thought it didn't but the more I drink something with milk in it; it becomes an issue. Go Figure! I was always able to drink milk but haven't drunk much over the years. Life goes on! LOL

I am looking forward to the weather getting warmer and the flowers coming out! It was wet and rainy all day. Plus, a little cold.

Tomorrow, I need to go with Debbie and check on the quilts we are giving out on Saturday. We also need to pick 2 quilts that will be given out on Tuesday at the Chehalis Tribal luncheon. I need to write something up for all of us. There is 4 of us going and it has been a while since we presented that way. I hope we can do a great job on it.

As you can see, today wasn't my day for Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Thursday - What Fun

This morning, Patrick was waiting to go out to go golfing. The weather wouldn't let them go till after 10 am. Which gave me some time to myself.

I pretty much listened to my audiobook, cleaned the litter box, and ran the vacuum. Then I sat and played my game. When the battery was low, I traded it in for my cross stitching.

I worked on the left side. I was able to get here, then ended up taking out some of the stitches, because I wasn't on track. Once I got myself back on track of what I was doing, it went well.

I finished up the white on the side, then worked on the green above the white. That was where I was having trouble but ended up redoing it. I like the way it was coming out. My steps are in order, and I can keep going that way. I just need to stop going into the 100 next it. It takes some doing.

Today I got my walk in, but forgot how many times I was going, since I was listening to my audiobook. I was thinking I need the golf tees back out there to help me out.

The best part was I was actually being Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Olympia And Casino

This morning, I was up around 8 am. Wanted to get out of bed before Patrick so he could make the bed. lol Too lazy to do it today.

I got my 3 laps in on my walk, plus some. Then I sat and worked on my cross stitching before we had to head up to Olympia.

I worked on the area where the light green is on the left side. I ended up taking out some of the yellow area because it just wasn't working. Once I had that taken out, it went smoothly. Then Patrick told me it was time to get moving.

We left around 12:15 pm so we could get a few things done. Had to go to the credit union, then PUD (Public Utilities District - something like that), and lastly Staples to drop off the pot that was received yesterday. Then it was on the way to Olympia for my oncology appointment.

Patrick wanted to go in with me to find out about my spine losing some density. It's minor and is common. IF it was something that was worse, they would have to give me more medication to counter it. Luckily, I'm not there yet and may not get there. So, I passed on all my stuff and will go back in 6 months. I reached my 2-year mark and now I don't have to go in as often.

We then went to the casino at Lucky Eagle. We played for a few hours and then had supper. Once we were finished eating, we went back to play more. We did okay, but some of the money we came home with last time was given back. lol The progressive on the game we play was won just before we sat down to play.

Once we were done, we decided to head home. We were home around 8 pm and I'm now beat. I'm so tired and I think it's because of sitting so much. Driving makes me tired as well. I need to take a protein drink tomorrow! lol

So, it didn't turn out bad today. I was able to work enough to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Back On Track

This morning, I slept in. Then I ordered backing and batting for our group.

I played my games for a bit and then Patrick wanted to watch a movie. We watched "A Ghost in My House" ? I think that's the name. It was on Netflix. It was really good too.

While that was going on, I decided to pull out my cross stitch.

I was able to get it back on track. The steps are showing up again. I was able to get a lot done. I'm having some issues with that color I had trouble with before. I may have to take out more to get it fixed. UGH I actually frogged about 100 stitches. We will see, I may have to. It's coming along nicely thought.

Not much going on today.

I ordered my pot from Amazon (LE TAUCI 3 Quart Ceramic Dutch Oven) that finally came in today. Patrick opened it to find that it was broken. Not only that, but they also sent us a RETURNED pot that was broken. The knob on the top was wrapped up and in the box. I couldn't believe it. Patrick has it for a replacement but can't find where we can make a comment about giving us a broken returned pot. This was a first! Now I have to wait another 2 weeks. UGH

At least I could find time for Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Embroidery Day

I am going to have to find something other than "Embroidery Day" for Monday's schedule. I can't seem to think of titles very well. I will work on it.

It was a day at moms. I stopped and got her a tea as well as myself. She wanted to talk about quilts, but Georgie and I worked on our embroidery. So, she finally started working on her applique. Georgie isn't happy with her piece, but I think it looks fine.

As for me, I'm not that thrilled with mine, but I will work on fixing it so that the white doesn't show through

I am starting to work the bullions in, then I will have to work the detached buttonhole stitches in. I will have to practice that part, because it's been a while since I have done that. The same number color of red, in Glory and Lola are just a bit off. As you can see in the picture, the "vane" in the rose is a tad darker than the red in the middle. At least it's on the outside and not the inside. I think the darker will have it looking better than the other way around. It will be interesting to see how this comes out. I may need to add some satin stitches in where the buttonhole stitches are (outside petals).  It's fun, and different. I like the rose, so I'm a going to work on it. It gives me something to work on while I am at our BE meetings. Funny, but it was only 4 of us today. Sandy II and Gerilyn had things to do and will be here next week.

After Georgie and Bonnie left, mom heated up lunch. Then Ethel and Mike came to visit with mom. We were eating while they were there. Mike is my daughter-in-law's father and Ethel is her grandmother. So, it's family. Mike will be leaving at the end of the week to go to San Franciso for a bit, then head to MS or FL and then go to the other on the way back. He is busy.

I left before they did. I headed home and sat down. I was enjoying my games. What I should have done was pull out my cross stitch and work on that. But, NOPE, I was lazy and played with a good friend. We have been playing for over 3 years. I did do some bookkeeping when I got home and paid a bill. I will get it to the PUD on Wednesday. I have a few things on the computer I need to do, but not there yet.

Lazy? Heck yea! Care? Heck no! Or at least I tell myself that. Life is good. I'm calming down. Things are looking up. Patrick is doing good considering he's fighting cancer for over 5 years now. We can be thankful for each day. He turned 67 in January. I will follow in about 3 months. Things are good! It will be interesting to see what this year will bring. Katt will be here in July, and we will go to another Mariner's game in Seattle. At least they have shuttles to get us there. lol

And yes, I was Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!!

SEAHAWKS WIN!!!

It was pretty busy this morning with cleaning and getting my Christmas Star Bread done. I was able to get a lot done.

Then it was time to just sit and relax. So, I did. I watched the Seahawk's play and I stitched.

I was able to work on this. I got a lot done. The right side is slowly getting the steps that I like working on. I did a lot of the white/light green area done. It was fun, but doing the same color for a long time does get old. lol

When I got tired of working on it, I played on my tablet.

It was awesome to see us win again! It was boring to start, then it became a game in the last quarter. Shame they couldn't have played like that throughout the game. At least we won! I just hope we keep all our players at this rate, but we all know free agents want more money and that leads to trades. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

With a WIN, I was still able to be Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

QOV National Sew Day

This morning, I headed downstairs to get ready for our group of quilters. I was getting more of the pillowcases cut.

Around 10 am the gals started coming in. We had at least seven of us. Each had something to do. Val and Colleen worked on sewing the pillowcases. Mary, Debbie and I worked on pinning them for them to sew. Then mom worked on ripping stuff out when needed. Lynn helped with ironing. We had a good process going. We took a break at about noon for lunch then we got back into the pillowcases. They started leaving around 2:30 pm. Colleen and I did the last 6 pillowcases to get a total of 18 done today. Colleen brought 2 of hers she had done.

We were talking about having a challenge. So, we figure if we have a challenge to see who does the most pillowcases will get a reward. Think we need to think on what the reward would be, and then get it started after our meeting next month. It will be interesting.

It was about 5 pm before Colleen and I were done. It was fun. I came upstairs and called it done. My feet were killing me, and I found I did 5k steps just being downstairs working on the pillowcases.

I spent the rest of the night playing my games. I think I'm going to call it an early night for me. because I'm dead on my feet.

It was fun having everyone here and being Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!

Trip To Olympia And Costco

This morning, Patrick went golfing and I got some laundry in. Then I just enjoyed the morning. He got home just as I was ready to go walking. I was able to get my walk in and then it was time to pick mom up.

We left at noon to get mom and then head up to Olympia. I had my bone density test, while they waited out in the car. Guess I was in there about 45 minutes, and I thought it was less than that. My test only took about 10 minutes. So, I joined them and we headed out to Costco.

Mom had some issues with her left hearing aid. So, they looked at her ear and found that she needs to get them cleaned, there was a lot of wax. But she does have an issue with the hearing aid, so she is getting a new case for it. It cost her $50, but I figured she needed to get it done so that the wax doesn't go into the hearing aid piece.

We shopped to get what we needed, then went to Pizza Hut to eat. I didn't want pizza, but Patrick did. Mom was okay with it. We got a boxed meal. Whatever one does at Pizza Hut, DON'T get the boneless chicken! It's awful! You get very small pieces with 3 bigger pieces, not worth the money. Plus, the coating is too heavy and makes it hard to eat.

Dropped mom off and she gave me chicken in a bag (frozen) for tomorrow. Then stopped at Phil's to give him some stuff we bought at Costco. It was just a few things.

Came home and called it done. I didn't feel like doing much but play my games. I will be busy tomorrow with QOV National Sew Day at the house. I need to clean up down there, but I'm not going to. I will figure it out tomorrow. We have a few things to do, so we are good.

Not a day for Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Week Is Going Fast

Not only the week, but the months are going fast. I feel like I sneezed and January was gone.

Patrick was golfing in the fog. That had to be interesting. It was cold today, but I actually got a few things done.

I needed to get 2 quilt tops set with backing and batting. I used up the roll of batting and a couple of the backings. I'm going to ask the group what colors they want for backing and see what I can get. I am ordering regular rolls of fabric that are solid colors. That will help with the quilts. Plus, I can use them in the kits we put together. I washed the backings and have them ready to go. I need to do the binding on one quilt, and it will be ready as well.  I even marked the veterans that are going to be presented on the 21st.

Patrick got home as I was finishing up with that job. I had walked just before, so my day was busy this morning.

Then I played on my tablet for a bit and listened to my audiobook. I was feeling like I needed to do something other than sit and play games. So, I pulled out my cross stitch and got to work.

I was able to get moving on the right side. I finished up with the area I took out and realized I was a step off, so I'm doing 2 steps at a time to get back in line. Now that I have the white, I was able to work on that area as well. I'm really happy with the way it's coming. I must have done about 400 stitches today. It felt good to work on it. I needed something to work on.

It feels weird that I started this last year around August and now it's February. All I have to do is blink and the month is gone. What a year! Before I know it, it will be my Birthday again. Not that I care, just didn't think it needed to come so fast.

Oh, well, it's Thursday and I was able to enjoy being Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Another Casino Day

Patrick went golfing and Kaiser woke me up at 8:30 am to let me know we needed to move my appointment because my density test wasn't scheduled yet and I needed that before my appointment. So, I had to call and get that scheduled and then call him back. While I waited, I called OBGYN to get an appointment in April - and they don't have that schedule available yet.

So, for a couple hours this morning, I was on the phone. Then I went walking. I got 3 laps in today, which was awesome. I have to do a little increase at a time, so I'm going slow with upping my laps.

I had to get the copyright from QOV again. It expired in December and I needed to renew it, so got that off in the email.

Once that was done, Patrick came home and we headed to the museum first.

We are now ready for a few quilts to give away. This is only part of what we have.

Then we headed off to the casino. With the money we have on our card, we played and won $750 to play on. We played that down to the last $300 and went back to the game we won the $750 on. By the time we left, we had more than that to come on with. It was all their money. So, that felt good. We stayed till about 5 pm, ate there, and then came home.

I was a little tired. So, we sat and watched TV. Now I can sleep good tonight. As much as I thought we would be home to give me time to do SOMETHING, it wasn't to be. So, tomorrow is another day. I may even go downstairs and clean up. lol Not my day for Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!

Cleaning, Walking & Stitching

Patrick was off golfing. I was sleeping in. Then when I got up, I started doing laundry. Amazing how much laundry one does for 2 people. Go figure! I was also doing sheets and towels, but still!

I went walking around the neighborhood and I got in 3 laps instead of 2. I'm improving! It was nice to get out and walk even when the weather was a little cold.

It was time to put everyone's names on the quilts that I need to take to the museum. I have 10 finished quilts in my back room. At least 4 of them will do for the panels to give out to the active duty.

This is one that was given to us from Tri Cities. I finally got the quilts done and now they are ready to give out.

Colleen's sister Janet did this quilt. It's a panel, so I may have to use it. It's different.

Sophie had to get in on my putting the names on the quilts.

This one is ready. I do like it; just wish I had made it a little longer. I wasn't reading the instructions very well. lol

I got into playing my games while working on laundry. Then I had to recharge the tablet, which got me going on working on the cross stitching. I needed to replace all that I took out.

I was able to fill in the left side that I took out, and I'm working on the right side to fill that in. It's coming along, and I'm back on track. I did enjoy working on this today. If was calming in a way. I will get back to my stair steps and get moving again. It's about half stitched, but there are a ton of beads that need to be added to this. That will be my last part. I don't think it has backstitching, but if it does, I will do them both at the same time. Will go faster that way.

This weekend is our Nation Sew Days and it's at the house. I need to get ready for that, because my quilt room is a mess. That will be the next thing I have to clean. May wait till Thursday. Thinking of taking mom up to Costco for her hearing aids. Patrick said he will take us.

I'm just thankful I'm getting back to being Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Monday - Embroidery Day - But Ended Up Quilt Day

This morning, I had to head to Colleen's, then meet Kelsey in Centralia, and then head to moms. It was a busy morning just getting to moms. I ended up picking up 2 quilts to go to moms.

When I arrived, there were 4 of them there. Of course, mom had to pull out her blocks she's been making for us to help her decide how they are going to be put together. So, she made me help her lay them out on the floor.

We worked this one out. It was fun to see who everyone kept moving the blocks around, but then after a while, I wasn't laughing.

This was the next one. She had so many red blocks that it was too red, so we mixed the blue in. I'm not a scrappy person and I'm not crazy about this one, but it's in the red, white and blue colors. Mom has been doing a lot of scrap quilts and asking me to help with laying them out. I hate that job. This was another one of those that we are moving blocks around like crazy. Now they are ready to be put together and then I can get them out to quilt.

When that was done, Georgie wanted a photo of her quilt that she made and did the binding on.

She liked how this one came out; it was on that Val put together. It turned out nice. She was telling me about how she wants to see her blocks in a quilt and knows we have a ton of them. I told her, yes, we have a ton, but it's hard to figure out where to put them. We will work on that on Saturday during sew days.

I was ready to come home, but mom had stuff she wanted me to do. So, I showed her how to get the books back to Amazon on her Kindle. Then she wanted me to help her with the Fetch app she has. We ended up sending a message to help because she couldn't get on it. Then I was ready to go, till she reminded me I was going to help her with the Chex Mix treats. I ended up having to read the recipe from the package, tell her what to put in the pot, and then mix it all up. Once that was done, I could leave. I couldn't believe she couldn't do all that by herself, but she was insistent that I "help" - in over words, I do it!

I stopped at Colleen's on the way home and picked up the quilt she was putting the binding on. I believe I have 6 quilts in the other room that need to be taken to the museum. Colleen has a panel quilt that is done, so that will help for the 21st. I can't seem to get down there and get another one done!

Came home and called it a day. Was ticked I didn't get to work on my embroidery. Told mom that Mondays is for embroidery, not QOV. Don't think she liked that. OMG! I may have to move our group back to the grange at this rate.

As much as I want to say I was, I really wasn't Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Ripping Seems To Be My Motto

Today, Sunday. Another weekend gone. Another week beginning.

I actually went downstairs and cut batting and backing for a quilt. Then I cut the panel on the wall in 5 pieces. I will see what will work to put them together and have another top done. It will be interesting what I end up doing.

I listened to my audiobook and "frogged" or rip out the floss that I had put in. Since the shading was off, I wasn't happy with going with the next shade for the same color. So, I took it all out.

It's a big area but won't take too long. I will work on it in the next few days.

I have a start, and it's coming along nicely. I can't wait to get back to my stair stepping to get this done.

I started my sourdough tonight. Haven't paid too much attention to it, so I'm hoping it will do fine.

I'm at least trying to get back into enjoying myself by being Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!

Another Trip To The Casino

This morning, we decided to go to the casino. We didn't have any plans, and Patrick hasn't golfed for a couple of days. He really do...
