Gone All Day...UGH

This morning I was out the door before 7:30 am. I opened the garage for Kitty and said goodbye.

I arrived at Art's around 7:40 am and we were on the road by 8 am. We got to the casino around 9 am. By 10 am I was down to $30 and had another 3 hours to go. I called Patrick and told him I've never gotten this low before and don't know if I can make it 3 hours. We chatted for a few, and then I went back to play. To my surprise I held on to $20 by lunch time. After lunch I added $5 of my money and hoped for the best. I got it up to $70 and then had another 30 mins to go. I ended up with $55 by the time it was time to leave. I only got $3 on Keno. So, I came out better than I expected. All in all it was a half way decent day.

After we got back I had to go to Safeway but decided to stop off at Ace Hardware because I saw they had reading glasses. I wanted to try them out because I need a magnifying glasses for the plane. I need to see the cross stitch fabric better while in the air. (lol) The glasses they had didn't work for me. I will have to check it out at Walmart (ugh) and see if they have some that will work. Probably not because I have prescription glasses already. I may look for a small magnifying glass that will clip on an embroidery hoop. I'll have to wait and see what I can get.

We had bowling tonight (9-pin no tap). I bowled a 611 series - with one game being 167. I did pretty good the first two games. We lost 3 games. The other team had a handicap of 236 while we had 8. We had fun but lost by 10 pins the first game and then got our butts kicked the third game.

Tomorrow is physical therapy.

Stay Happy Stitching - Happy Quilting!!
