A Day With Friends At BFF

I was up and ready to go today. I got a good sleep, which was surprising to me since I always seem to get up too early or in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep for awhile.

I picked Cherrill up and we went to our Brazilian Embroidery meeting. We're called "BFF" and I think it's for Brazilian Friends Forever but not sure. Our group is about 3 years old now.

I worked on the flowers of the spout on the tea pot. I added the green on the flowers. I didn't have enough flowers done to finish up with the green. So, I have both the green and the purple strands showing while I try to work on them. I like the way it's coming out.

I had my message therapy this afternoon. So, when I got home, told Patrick I wanted to go out. We decided to go to the casino because of "senior" night. We had $45 each to work with from the casino. We figured we'd be home in no time, but we actually came home with more money then we took. So, I think after this last month, we are ahead of the game. Unusual but nice to be ahead and not loosing it all.

Got home and did my exercises. Watching DWTS and then calling it a night. Good thing we taped it! lol I really like the dances they have been doing.

All in all, I'm having a better week, but it's a busier week. Tomorrow is Quilts of Valor meeting. Then back to Massage Therapy on Wednesday, and Thursday is my quilt meeting. Things are busy...busy...busy this week.
