Done Bowling Till September

This morning I was up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep. I walked around but couldn't find Sophie. She's still trying to get used to us. I did find her around the time Patrick got up for work. I petted her and we had a good bonding moment. Then when I went to get a shower, she went under the couch and stayed there pretty much most of the day. I did pet her while she was under there, and let her know I was okay. It's a waiting game.

While I waited, I stitched.

I am to a point where I can roll this and will probably do that tomorrow.

Closer to getting this months done! I'm getting excited!

Patrick got home early. Were were out the door.

When we stepped outside, I saw these beautiful roses! They are growing wonderfully! I love how the color changes.  Had to stop and take a photo!

We went to the casino to pick up the cast iron pie pans. I love them! I bet they will make my pie crust a little better! I usually have soggy crusts on the bottom, and this will probably help get them crustier.

We went out to eat and I am still having trouble with my jaw. It really doesn't want to open very far. So, I did pretty good eating. It is really weird eating with two teeth (one and part of one) missing. I'm eating on one side for now.

After supper it was off to the bowling alley. We had a "tournament" with the league that finished. 9-pin no tap was our tournament. We did 9-pins for the first two games and then we did 8 pins for the last game. I bowled a 210, 203, and a 290. I bowled a 7 spare to start. That didn't help, but at least it wasn't in the middle of the game, it would have been worse.

I'm enjoying being Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
