Organizing and Bowling

This morning I was up before Patrick. No news there....

I played on my tablet for awhile. Wasn't sure if Patrick wanted to go to the movies today or not. So, waited till he got up to see what he had in mind. When he finally got up, we decided to pass on the movies, as it would be later in the afternoon and we wouldn't be able to come home, cook supper, and go to bowling.

I worked on getting laundry going. It's really behind. I did get 3 loads in, but have about that many more to do as well. I did wash the new towels that we got a Costco yesterday. I want to use them! For the price it was a really good deal. Patrick didn't like the color choices they had, but I did. We bought 2 green towels. Now I can get rid of 2 of the cream towels that are like paper!

While I was between washing clothes and watching the AWFUL game the Seahawks played - I worked on getting my floss box organized. I was putting that second box of floss I got, into my box. I was moving my floss bobbins from one side to the other. I couldn't believe how it worked out. Both boxes had numbers from 200 to 700! I was hoping for some 800's and 900's but that's fine. I have some of those downstairs in the draw where I have my over stock. I have a few of my bobbins that have 3 bobbins. I was working on getting down to one bobbin. I got a ton of them done. I moved half my bobbins to the second side. My bobbin box is big enough for 2 "shelves." I love how I can keep them all in that one box.

This is a bad photo, but you get the idea. This is the first "shelf" and if I flip it over there is another self. The middle area holds my gloss floss that I had to buy for my other cross stitch.......Oh! the Penguins that Kathy is supposed to be working on. Can't wait to see how she puts it together.

This gives a better idea. So, I ended up taking out my JCP and Anchor floss that was in here. This is now FULL of DMC floss. And the extra floss is in a draw downstairs where I can replace what is missing. I have the blue box that I emptied today. I'll use that for my next project that needs a lot of floss. I have another box that I need to put the back in the floss box, but I don't think there is enough room to add them right now. That was all the floss I needed for my HAED project. Since I decided to take it apart, I need to put the floss back in the box. May wait till I have to pull floss for the next project. LOL

I pulled out my hardanger and started to put a few stitches into it.

Mom showed me what I was doing wrong and made it make more sense with what I needed to do. Now I'll work on getting this done. I really like working on this piece. It bothered me that I couldn't get the corners right. Mom explained it to me, and I realized I was counting 5 stitches when it was actually 3 stitches. It made more sense when I figured out what I was thinking was wrong.

When watching the Seahawks, I was ticked!! I'm sorry, but I think the NFL needs to get out of politics and play the game! It was an insult to my family for not standing up to the FLAG! The flag represents those who fought for our rights! Yes, my family gave everyone the right to protest. But that doesn't give them the right to protest the American Anthem! My father was insulted, but as he said, "I fought for that right, so if they do, I can't complain." He can't but I can!! The NFL is paid to play a game, they are not paid to protest and bring politics into a game!! They need to get back to respecting this country and play the game and leave politics out of it!

Okay, off my soap box.

Went went bowling tonight. The good news is that I think Patrick is getting better. I actually beat all my team mates but we did win 3 games. Patrick lost the last game for us. lol  I bowled a 211, 178, 194. I felt a lot better. I actually went up 8 pins from last week. Considering I went down 4 pins last week. I'm happy again.

Keeping Busy With House Work

Today was a day to myself. I really enjoyed that.

First I played on my tablet. Of course had to get the laundry going, because Patrick added the bathroom towels and rugs to the load.

Then I pulled out my computer and worked on my Hardanger. I started working on the buttonhole stitch that goes around the piece. It wasn't as easy as I would have liked. I decided I really wasn't in the mood to work on it.

So, I called it good.

I was watching a couple movies I have on TV while dealing with laundry and my cross stitch.

The purple is coming through better. I like my darker color showing through. It's not as muddy as the other color. I like how it's working out. I'll be working on it more tonight. Last night I didn't get anything done that I was planning on doing. We went to bed to read and not work on my crafts.

I'm doing good with my fitbit. I'm making my marks. I did miss two hours today, one I missed by 10 steps, the other, I don't know what happened. I did get my 30 min walk in.

Did More Than One Thing Today

This day started out with a text to Patrick. I was up and he went back to sleep....go figure.

Played for a little while, till Patrick was up. Then emptied the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, and started working on making bread.  Since my sourdough was looking really good, I decided to make some bread. Worked on one first then started in on the second one. Left one on the counter to raise and put the other in the refrigerator.

Then while I was working on those, I pulled out the computer and watched what I needed to do on the hardanger.

I finished up part 7. Tomorrow I can work on part 8. Since tomorrow I don't have anything going on, I can get some stuff done. I've got laundry to do, plus I was looking at the bathroom and may need to get a little more cleaning done in there.

About the time I finished this up, mom and dad came. We were going out to eat with them. They said they would be here around 2 pm but didn't make it till about 2:30 pm. Worked out okay. While Patrick drove down to Longview I played on mom's tablet to help her get her game going. We had a good supper at Sizzlers. Dad loves the chicken down there.

Funny how we had chicken there, and I've got the chicken in the frig to make fried chicken tomorrow.

Came home and played a game with the folks. Mom was falling asleep while we were playing.

So, while we were playing, I cooked the bread. It came out awesome! Patrick couldn't wait!

He went out to the freezer and brought in his freezer jam to have a slice before it cooled down. This is his blackberry jam that he did the other week.

Now, tonight I can get back to my cross stitch. I also need to work on the eyes of the owl. AS WELL AS embroidery on the needle case. I'll have to get moving on that as well. I will try and work on those tomorrow.

I did get a few more stitches in on this one.

As we can see, I did more than one thing today. I kept busy! I couldn't believe I got as much done today since I was running around from one thing to another.

Missed My Goal For The Day

This morning I enjoyed sleeping a little longer today. Last night was one of my better nights in over a month. Still keep thinking about Kitty and how I can try to find her.

We left early and went to the casino. That was a quick visit as it ate all the money we had to take with us. So, we headed to the movie theater to see a really good movie. I wish I could say which one it was, but I'm really bad about titles and it's one that is hard to remember. But I really did enjoy the movie. It was awesome.

We came home and I worked on my cross stitch out on the deck. Patrick read a book.

I got another 200 stitches in before we came back in the house. Then I added another 50 stitches. My hands were getting sticky, so I decided to put it aside and work on something else.

I got a few more stitches in on the hardanger. I'll try and work on this tonight and hope to get back to my cross stitch tomorrow.

Mom and dad will be here tomorrow to go out for dinner.

I didn't make it my step goal today. I did get 10,000 step in yesterday but today I'm lucky to get 5,000. I keep walking when it tells me, to get my 250 steps an hour in. It keeps me getting up. Now I need to do the exercises because my rear is getting sore. Sitting too much today. I showed Patrick my messages while we were at the movies, telling me I needed to get moving. It was funny!

Life is good, and keeps getting better or worse, but it's life. We had the photo and information in the paper on Kitty missing. Let's see if that even helps. I'm hoping but it's been  month now, so she's probably gone. I can keep hoping. I know I said I did all I could, but I keep finding more things I could do. I just hope that car gets pulled over and they can tag it as a possible cat napping. Trouble is I didn't get the license.

Another Hot Day!

Today I was up early. Didn't want to but got up. I went over to Cherrill's. She was going out later, so I left in good time. Came home and played on the tablet.

I pulled out my Birdfeeder.

I added the white and orange to the back of the bird. Then I called it good. It will take some time to get it right. This is a start. 

Then I watched the video on the next step of HAL. I had to take out the two half stars that I put in. I fixed them. I was a little off on them. Added the four half stars and started the outer border. I'll work on that later. 

Oh, between working on those, I was so beat!! I fell asleep on the couch for a good hour. Funny part is that I'm tired yet now too! Go figure.

I wanted to show the books I was given at Seminar. The gal's mother did a lot of hardanger and she was giving her books away. 

I can learn a lot from these books! I'm looking forward to using them. 

After supper, I cut the tops off the green file cabinet files and used them for my floss box. This is how I can tell what weight my BE floss is. This box is FULL! I might be able to get a few more colors in there, but I can't get any more bars in there. If I have to, I'll use the black box I have for the other flosses that we don't use much. I'm hoping that won't be for awhile. 

Tonight after doing my exercises, I'll pull out my cross stitch and get working on Katt's stocking! I need to get that done! I also need to finish my Patriot Angel. Then I can start on my Mirabella piece next! I've got her almost ready. I'll get the floss ready here pretty soon.

We reached 90 degrees today....and I can't handle the heat. Ever since I lived in Turkey, I haven't been able to adjust to the heat. I can't breath at times. Not my favorite weather! Plus the next two days we are supposed to get close to 100 degree - which means I need to say in! I'd rather be cold! I can add clothes or blankets, but when it gets hot there is only so much we can take off!

Okay, time to call it good, get on with my exercises for my back.

Quilting With Mom & Hardanger

This morning I was up early. I knew I was heading over to mom's, so I had to leave pretty early. I helped Cherrill and then came home. I had a few minutes so I went downstairs and pulled out last years classes for Brazilian embroidery. I took all the floss out of the kits and put them in my container with the rest of them. I must have added close to 75 flosses. My box is so full that I might have to put some in another container. Hard to believe I had very few (4) duplicates. I didn't check the colors before we went to Portland, so it was interesting to see I didn't have more colors that matched up.

I stopped off at Starbucks to get some tea, and while I was at it, bought one for mom and dad as well. Dad wasn't there, so his coffee had to be warmed up in the microwave - Sorry that's not the same as fresh! Mom and I had chai tea.

I worked with mom and the Forest Galorest quilt. I cut the blocks to size while mom talked to Jen in OR. She lost her sister in Feb and they have been trying to find mom to let her now. Mom called her and they are talking about going down to see her in the next month. We cut out the triangles for the side of the quilt. We need to get it pieced to add more applique to it. I still haven't been thinking to take a photo of it while we work on it. I will try next time.

About 11 am I headed over to my PT. I worked with Bob on what I could do to help my back. We added a couple more things. Went back to moms but she was leaving for a hair appointment. So, I headed back home.

I stopped off at the grocery store for milk and a few other things for supper. I made "Lemon Chicken" for supper.

While the foo was cooking, I decided to work on the hardanger. I was able to get some of it done before supper. Then I added a few more stitches in a little bit ago.

I need to finish the strip across, then add the next two going the other way. Once that is done, then I need to do the next section. I'm starting to get caught up! This was #4 and I believe she's only on #8. Another one will come out soon. So, I'm trying to get there.

I may work on my birds later tonight. I have some ideas to make it better, so I'm going to try and finish the Birdfeeder so I can move to another one. I can hope!!

Brazilian Embroidery Meeting Day

I have noticed I have been getting more checking my blog. So, for those of you that are new to my blog, Welcome! I tend to be boring at times, more often then not. This blog was started for my children, but they didn't bother to see what their mom was up to. So, I kept it as a "Journal" of my crafts. I'm scattered in more ways then one, which you will see when you read my posts. I've been trying hard to make sure I post every day. Doing that helps me make sure I work on some form of craft - quilting, cross stitch, Brazilian embroidery, crochet, etc. I love different forms of hand crafting.

This morning I was up early. Needed to get some laundry going before I went to Cherrill's. There was plenty of dirty laundry I could pick from! So, I was able to get three loads in laundry between our meeting.

We had our meeting set for 10 am. We usually meet at 9:30 am, but Georgie sent out the email for 10 am. I went over to Cherrill's to help her with her socks. Then I brought the cake she baked over, and she came about 15 minutes later. At first I thought there would only be 3 of us, but it finally ended up being 7. We had a good group meeting. We laughed and shared what we did at the Seminar.

I worked on my next bird. I didn't get much done, but I'm getting there. I'll work on it tomorrow. I figured out that one of my birds needs a 3D wing. I really need to get this done.

After everyone left, I went back to working on my hardanger. I want to try and get caught up.

Which means I'm going around the squares I did earlier. This should go quick and I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

Life is awesome! I'm falling asleep as I type this, so I'm going to call it a day....chances are my typing is falling off the page as I'm falling asleep. ZZZZZZZ

Made It Home

This morning I was up at 6:18 am. Went down to see Sandy and Jeanette. We then headed over to the dinning hall for breakfast. They weren't packed yet, so went up to our rooms and cleaned up a little. Packed my sleeping bag and headed downstairs. I packed my stuff in the car so we could get them out from the side door. There were so many people watching Sandy pack her car! They wanted to see how we could get everything in and still be able to take 2 bikes. The bike rack helped a great amount. Even I was amazed at how much we had and how well she packed that car.

After getting home, we headed over to dad's. We had an awesome fathers day! I love my father dearly.

We came home and i worked in my hardanger to get some stitching time in.

Kitty was happy to see me. She has been getting Patrick's attention too. Looks like they are getting along so well!

I'm tired, so heading to bed. Happy Stiching!!

Day 2 of BDEIG Seminar in Portland, OR

This morning I thought I could sleep in a little before heading out - or better yet hanging out. I didn't have classes today. I set my alarm for 6:30 am but everyone was up and heading out by that time so I was actually up at 6:00 am. Not much sleep, but then again, I usually don't get much sleep at retreats. Plus I've been asked to help one of my roomies and that takes some time from what I want to get done by the end of the night. My roomie has been so busy that she actually needs all the help she can get.

Anyway, I didn't do the breakfast. I didn't want the pancakes or eggs. It's kinda funny because Jeannette was telling me it wasn't worth going to anyway. Sandy had texted me saying she was riding the bike and would be back soon. That was around 8 am and I missed it. I found it on my phone about 9 am and told her to come on up. We had a very good visit. Chatted about everything.

Then lunch came and we had a pretty good meal. I came back here, while Sandy and Jeannette went to their classes. Poor Jeannette, she was in a class over her head. She took the class because she liked what they offered without realizing it was a high level class.

I came back and worked on my handanger.

It's actually coming along a lot better than the fabric I was using. I'm happy with this and will be caught up before too long. I really do want to do this!

Then I remembered we had a kit to do a fairy and hang it up. I decided to try and see if I could do one that would be nice enough to be voted on. Voting will be on Friday I think. We have to have them done by Friday, so it's going to be interesting if we do. I'm not too worried about it.

I worked on the wings and I think I'm going to add beads or more glitter to it before I put it on the fairy. I'm still thinking as I go. Should be interesting to see if I can do this. If I can, it will encourage me to do more designs of my own.

We had supper and I was amazed at the cook! I chatted with him last night and told him I couldn't do potatoes and carrots. Plus no carbs at night. WELL, the meal had carrots in the veggies, carrots in he salad, and fried potatoes! So, I had 3 pieces of roast, a "salad" that was ONLY lettuce. I did get some banana pudding. Guess you guessed right, I snacked!!

After dinner one of the teachers was going to teach how she makes little fairies! They are so cute! So while we waited for the teacher one of the gals had this on the table. Her sister put this in her bed with a note and something else. So, she's been carrying it around. He's really cute!

We went around to everyone's room and put some cards under doors. Then came back - around 10:30 pm. it's now midnight and I'm going to call it good.

Day 1 At BDEIG Seminar

This morning I was saying goodbye to Patrick and waiting for Sandy and Jeannette to arrive. They had a couple things they needed to do before they came to get me, which was find. They arrived sometime after 10 am. We then headed down to Portland.

We are at Concordia University in Portland. We around around noon. We were given our keys to our rooms. I found out they are on the first level and I'm on the 2nd level. I'm actually rooming with Pat and her other group. There are 4 of us in an "apartment" that has individual rooms. So, I can close the door if I want. Sandy and Jeannette are in the same room. It's cheaper if one rooms with someone, then it is to room alone. I was asked to join the gals up here, but found out I was actually sharing a bathroom with Sandy and Jeannette if I would have said no. I kinda wish I did. So, I'm up here with people I don't know very well and they seem to have meetings in the "kitchen" area. So, I came back to my room while they decided on what they were going to do. Plus they don't stay up very late, and if I had been with Sandy and JT then I could have enjoyed some time chatting with them. Oh, well, I'm going to enjoy my time anyway! lol

They didn't have "registration" till 2 pm. So, we didn't get bags till then. It was funny though, because we arrived last year at 1:30 or so and they gave out most of the bags, so we didn't get much of a choice then.

This was the bag we received this year! I am amazed at how nice they are. It has the BDEIG on it.

We received a ton of goodies in the bag as well. I'll probably take them out to look out tomorrow while I have time to myself in the morning. I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow morning, but Sandy has the afternoon off, so we'll do something.

I did sign up for another class. I decided to sign up for another rose pattern class and it's by Debbie Kelley. So, I'm looking forward to that. She's supposed to be a really good teacher. I'm excited about having both rose patterns. I'm not sure if we will be doing the work on the actually piece or if we will be doing doodling. Either way, I'm going to work on them while I'm here.

We went to lunch here, and had to pay for it, because it wasn't part of our "time" at Seminar. I had a hamburger at the dinning hall. It was pretty good actually.

We had supper upstairs from where we had our meals last year. I'm really impressed with this years events so far. It's the 25 anniversary of the founding of BDEIG. So, they are doing it up big.

After supper I was "railroaded" into helping out upstairs. I enjoyed it. I was helping collect the embroidery pieces for show and tell. Many of them are going to be voted on. It's awesome to see. They also have a show and tell of the last 25 year, so there is a lot to see. I'm taking photos for the group. Got a lot of them so far today. I'm not going to load them for awhile. If I need photos for here, I'll take them from my phone.

This is the floss I ordered and then I had to buy 10 more! This is $100 worth of floss!! I have money for later, but I wanted to take home $100. Then I went and signed up for the class and that's costing me around $60. So, I may not be bring $100 home. lol That's okay, I'm loading up on the colors I don't have. PLUS I just HAD to have some variegated threads!! We'll see how it goes!

When I finally came back to my room, I started working on my hardanger. This is the one that I got rid of the first one I did and bought the hardanger fabric as well as new threads. I really like this one and it's easier to see what I need to do. Go figure! I should have done that in the first place! LIVE AND LEARN.

So, it's late, but I don't have any classes tomorrow. I'll probably get my floss organized for my class, and call it good. I don't think I need them till Wednesday, so I have plenty of time.

I probably won't do breakfast tomorrow. Really not in the mood for eggs (probably powdered) or pancakes. So, I'm going to call it good and eat the Aussie bites I brought. Better for me anyway.

Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to sleep in this sleeping bag. There is a blanket here, but I brought a quilt. Phil's sleeping bag is one of those hot ones that sleeps one person tightly! I'm not skinny like he is. lol So, I will open it up and cover myself in it with the quilt over it. That should keep me warm. I didn't get another pillow but I brought mine. So, I'm good!

Okay, need to get back to finishing the star of the hardanger so I can start getting caught up with the HAL group on FlossTube.

Counting Down To Seminar

Today started out busy and ended up more relaxed later on.

Kitty and I enjoyed some time before I went to help Cherrill. We had a good chat about families. She does ancestry as well. I need to get back to entering information on the family history. I have a ton that needs to be entered. I will stop my fees on ancestry for a while and try to enter more of my paper information. I really need to get moving on that again.

Sue stopped by and picked up the group quilt that I'm storing for them. It's a quilt we all did a block for - and actually that block is on my blog. I believe it's 2 or 3 years old. Not sure when we finished that. At least 2 years ago.

I forgot yesterday to add these quilts that Whalen Quilt Works got in yesterday! My mother has done both of these but she was looking for one more. I called and told her to go to the shop and pick them up. They are "white on white" quilts.

My mother quilted the first one for me. It's done with blue quilting thread. She does beautiful hand quilting and gets them done in no time. I was thinking that would be about the only way I would get back into quilting....hand quilting these would be so much fun! But I have enough that I need to finish that I'm not going to go there. I still have Katt's quilt basted and ready to start quilting....haven't started it yet. I need to get moving on it. Should be simple! Simple is easy! So....why haven't I started it yet?! UGH

While laundry was going on I worked on the stocking! I'm so happy wit the way it's looking. I think this picture is so close to the actual colors. The other photos seemed to come up short. I've had so much fun! This piece is soft and so much fun to work with. Using the technique of having the eye come back up from underneath without pulling it all through the back, has worked out great! I love how it works and I love who much quicker it is! I get more done faster. And it doesn't hurt the design on the top at all. My stitches are still the same and come out the same as they did when I pulled all the thread through the back. I can pay more attention to the thread on top then worry about them on the bottom. Works great for me. I can see why Vonna likes it. I can see how she gets things done faster as well.

My brain keeps telling me what I need to add to my suit case. Sandy will be here Sunday for my stuff. I need to get them ready. I'm going to take a folding chair with me. Need a better chair then what they have to sit on when we sit around and chat. I added my socks to the suit case. (Best ones where in the wash). I have a couple more things to do and then I'm good and ready. I did get my hardanger stuff in the mail today.

SO, I'm thinking of taking my hardanger project with me to get caught up. I have Tuesday to work on it, and I think it will be fun to work on when I get tired of the embroidery work. I needed something to change things up with. Will be fun to see how far I get.

Getting Back To My Handwork

Each day I try to get at least 1 hour of handwork in. Some days are better than others. I did get a couple hours in on my "Patriotic Angel" while watching "Murder on the Orient Express." It was a good movie! I really enjoyed that and was able to get a few more stitches in.

I went down to check to see if I had the Braizilian Embroidery 101 book. I will be doing that project at Seminar in about a week. I'm looking forward to learning a few more stitches. I really do want to learn more stitches and be able to design my own work.

I have a lot more done on this one. I'm hoping to finish it up on Monday. It will be fun to see it done. Then I'll make it into an envelope bag.

I have also been working on this one - "Patriotic Angel" that I'm working on when I can. At least it's small enough to take with me.

Let's not forget this piece either. I'm getting closer to having it go all the way around.

And let's not forget about this one. The "O" is done and the penguin is too. This is a photo from earlier.

Plus we have the Precious Moments tree and the Bird feeder that I was working on. So, I have 2 embroidery pieces I'm working on, as well as 3 or 4 cross stitch and 1 hardanger.  OH, AND I'm binding quilts for QOV. I have dad's quilt finished and have to bind it. I did get a lot of help with it. Mom has it right now or I'd show it. Plus let's not forget all my UFO's downstair when it comes to quilting. I need to try and get started on quilting Katt's quilt.

So, life is good and I'm getting back to being Happy Stitching and Happy Quilting.

Getting Back to My WIPs - More On The Cruise

Now that our cruise is over, I need to get back to my crafts. Tomorrow is quilting at moms, so I'll take a quilt that needs the binding done. I need to have it done for Tuesdays QOV meeting.

I realized after I posted the 4 WIPs on IG that I missed two of them. One was Brazilian embroidery related and the other was my hardanger.

I started to work on this and as I was working on it, I found another mistake! I have to redo the part that has the yellow pin in it. I had it going right in some areas, but in others it was not lining up. So, I'm going to have to take the part out.

Now back to my cruise.....

We went to the Mayan Ruins the first day we docked.

This was the first night on board the ship. A beautiful night that night.

We took the excursion to the Mayan ruins the first day. It was amazing! And we learned the truth behind the people. They were not what everyone thought - people with a lot of gold. They didn't have gold because the gold didn't "grow" in those areas. They had silver but not gold. Plus they believed the holes or tunnels were tunnels of their way to the underworld. They were good people who were killed by the Spaniards.

There are descendants of the Mayan people. It was believed they were destroyed along with all their works. They have found 3 books that were written by the Mayan people as well as descendants who have the crest on their backs as birth marks.

The tour guide we had told of the history of the Mayan people. He was a descendant and very proud of that fact. He has the birth mark on his back.

The city is on the shoreline. The water was awesome! I couldn't believe how beautiful the water was that day.

Each building has a story...each story has a start.

These buildings have been standing since 400 AD. They have had bad weather and they still stand. I believe they knew what to do when it comes to making a building last through time. The buildings that were damaged was done by the Spanish who raided the village.

If one loves history as much as I do, it's well worth going to see the Mayan ruins. I would do it again! There is so much to see.

An Interesting Day of Hardanger

This morning I was up and ready to go. I went over to Cherrills to help her out and then came on back home.

I went downstairs and went through my magazines.

I wanted to find something for a baby and also a wedding announcement piece. I figure if Dan is getting married I could do an announcement and my great niece is almost a year old.

I then marked my piece of fabric for the "Hope" cross stitch that I'm taking with me.

While I was watching the flosstube stuff, I saw we had a #4 part to work on. So, I pulled it up and was starting to work on the piece when I figured I had done something wrong on the last piece. So, I took it out! I put it back in, took it back out, and put it back in....and that went on for several rounds.

I finally got it right and decided to give it a break before starting the part that goes around. I did get a few stitching in around the part I messed up...and messed up....and messed up....we get the picture! We'll see if I do more tomorrow or just wait and work on it another time.

I then decided to stitch more on the binding of the quilt. I now have about two feet to go and it's done. Then I'll put the label on the back. Once that's done, I'll wash it. Then I have to measure it. I'll do all that later. I know I'll have to wash it a few times.

I've been putting some stuff in the suit case to work on our trip. I should have it done soon. I'm still thinking about what I'll take with me. I need to do a dress or skirt that will work for the dress up day. I'm getting a little more excited about going.

Last night I didn't get much sleep because my mind was on the magazines and what I'll do for Dan and my nephew's baby. Funny how some ideas come to mind and then I'm off trying to get it done OR sweat over it till I do something about it.

Funny how weird I get....I think of something in the middle of the night and then I can't go back to sleep! So, I nap and wake thinking about what I NEED to do that day.....I should just get that note pad back to my table and write it down so I can go back to sleep. Sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't! When will I relax?! I seem to go off all the time.......
