This morning I enjoyed being able to sleep in. Sophie woke me at 2 am to get some TLC and she wasn't going anywhere for a good 20 mins or more. She hadn't done that in awhile.
We did our usual morning stuff. Then we watched TV. I worked on my family history getting it updated and working on the "Find A Grave" site to get a few things put together. I also got the photos for Vickie - mom's cousin (or step-cousin). I added a few of those to my tree and then worked on getting them ready to mail. I will mail them out tomorrow or Saturday. I can do that on line.
Patrick was watching his usual when the news went into "special report" and we listened to the Governor who stated that WA state has to go another month - till May 4th - on a stay home request. So, we have another month to be home. I worry about those that lost their jobs, and the small businesses that aren't covered in the incentives. I also worry about more people loosing their jobs, like the city workers and the nurses. It's going to be hard to pay them when there isn't any money coming in. I heard Tukwilla is cutting employees because they don't have any revenue coming in. Then Patrick was that Pullman is cutting their nurses salaries by 20% because of all this. It's really getting hard on everyone. We are lucky in the fact that Patrick is retired, so his wages won't be affected. I quit working a long time ago. We have enough to get by and I really feel for those that can't or that will be without a job when this is all over.
So, I listened to my audio book and beaded to relax me.
As I was beading I realized I was running short of DB1067. So, I had to go online and order more beads. You know how that goes. Even though you only need one set of beads, you might as well order more so you don't have to pay shipping for one small item. I ordered about $43 worth of beads. I checked my Snowman beads to make sure I had enough, and there were a few I didn't. So, I ordered what they had. I need to order 4 more from another website but they are closed due to the Virus going around. I was surprised they didn't keep the online shop open, but they didn't. So, I'm going to have to wait. At least I was able to get to 425/446 rows. I may be able to do one more row before the beads are done. I may just wait till the order comes in. I have the Polar Bear I can work on till the beads come in.
Then after supper I worked on my cross stitching.
Worked on getting the framing done. It's coming along. I also added a few more stitches in the flowers. I want to get as much of the frame done as I can, so I can work on the other stuff. It's coming along nicely. I may get this done before the beading since I have to wait on the beads. Love this!
All in all, life is boring because I can't go see friends. I called moms neighbor to wish her a Happy Birthday - she turned 90 years old. We are doing good. Patrick is going outside to work when the weather lets him. Other than that, I'm beading and he's watching TV. At least I have my head phones and audio books to listen to. Which make my day a day of Happy Stitching/Happy Quilting!
This is a blog that shows my quilting, Brazilian embroidery, cross stitch, beading and more. It's a daily blog that shows how busy I can be with too many projects and how lazy I can get at times. Even boring at times. It was originally for my children who where miles away. Now, it's just a blog.
