Working On Another Quilt

This morning I felt a lot better. I did stay home while Patrick went to his 8:30 am appointment. Sophie decided to let me know he left at 7:30 am. Then she let me know she wasn't happy about something at 8:30 am, so I finally gave it up on sleeping in. lol

Oh, last night I flushed the toilet and it wouldn't shut off. Patrick was ticked because he had to get up in the middle of the night to TRY and fix it. So, he shut the water off and we went back to bed. So, this morning we took a trip to the dump and then to Home Depot to get a new toilet.

He had to make 2 trips to town to get a couple parts that he needed.

It's a little taller and it's a little bigger than the other one. He was joking about putting a sign on the old one and putting it in the neighbors yard saying, "UW Dogs here." That would have been fun!

Debbie showed up and dropped off her quilt top. I cut the back of my top yesterday, and washed it today. So, I cut 2 battings, ironed the backing and got them ready for Connie. I will drop them off on Friday. Connie called to say I cut the batting wrong on the one that she has. So, I will put the backing that I have in the stash and drop that off Friday.

While Debbie was here, I worked on my panel. I'm still trying to decide.

I decided that wouldn't work......

Then I thought about making the stars and putting that around it.

I sewed about 5 of these blocks together. I'm going to decide how I want them placed after I get them done. I will need to put a strip between blocks on the top part. Not sure what I will do. Add strips or figure something else out. I just need to put these together first before I get to the point of deciding.

Came up stairs and called it quits. I was going to do the binding on my green quilt. Trouble with that was Sophie decided she wanted to sleep with me, on my quilt. So, no stitching there. But my day wasn't wasted - I was Happy Quilting/Happy Stitching!
